Losing hair every day is a normal phenomenon. An adult loses an average of 50 to 100 hair a day. Hair loss is considered a pathology when the fallen hair is not correctly replaced by the body, regrowth diminishes and the hair thins. This is what is called alopecia. Alopecia is genetic in 90% of women affected, and 97% of men. It typically starts after puberty and strengthens with age. There are other causes such as stress, traction hair loss, loss following medical treatment or caused by nutrient deficiency.

Alopecia affects men as much as women though the symptoms are different. In men, the hair loss starts on the frontal gulfs, followed by the vertex before reaching the top of the head until the baldness is in the form of a crown. In women, alopecia is usually indicated by a progressive hair loss on the middle row. Some women also lose hair on the temples.
A LED treatment associated with mesotherapy is effective to fight alopecia in men and women. The aim is to prevent the catagen phase during which the hair follicle dies and falls. Through Mesotherapy cryoprotective and antioxidant molecules are injected in the scalp. The effect of the LED yellow and red light stimulates cellular renewal. The association of these two methods stops hair loss, promotes regrowth and increases hair density.
